AYSO is a nationwide non profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO's six philosophies:
Everyone Plays
Balanced Teams
Open Registration
Positive Coaching
Good Sportsmanship
Player DevelopmentIn order to ensure the safety of our players, Coaches, Referees, and other spectators, Area 11-O has established the following Code of Conduct that we expect ALL spectators to adhere to:
1. I will learn the rules of the game and the policies of the region.
2. I will encourage my child to always play by the rules.
3. I will help my child work toward skill improvement and good sportsmanship in every game. My child will be a winner even in defeat.
4. I will NOT ridicule or yell at my child for making a mistake or for losing a game.
5. I will remain 3 yards behind the touch line, never enter the field of play and not stand behind the goal during play.
6. I will set a good example; children learn best by example.
7. I will applaud good plays by my team and by members of the opposing team.
8. I will never publicly question the refereeās judgment and honesty. The decisions of the referee regarding facts of play are final.
9. I will recognize the value and importance of the volunteer coaches, referees and officials and give them their due respect. Without them there would be no AYSO Soccer.
10. I will support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from youth sporting activities
11. I will demand a sports environment that is free from drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, and I will refrain from their use at any AYSO game and/or practice where children are present.
12. I will adhere to the posted signs at fields and will not bring dogs to any of the fields during practices and games.
13. I will abide by all safety guidelines as outlined by my local AYSO Region, Area, Section and National as well as local and state authorities.
I understand and accept the league policy that if I violate the Code of Conduct, I may be asked to leave the game.
I also understand that violations in my pledge may result in my being banned from further attendance at games for the remainder of the season.
